Another great evening of running at San Diego High – thank you to everyone that showed up and was ready for it.
I know some people weren’t quite ready for what they experienced during the workout. It sounded simple, but its one of those workouts that sort of sneaks up on people…
(200, 400, 600) x 3 repeats with resting the amount of time it takes you to complete the distance. When doing this workout I suggest going about 80-85% on the intervals – problem is that if you go out too fast there’s no way you will have enough time to fully recover before the next interval. Slowing down a little bit on your pace allows you to be more consistent throughout, which will help translate into better times in your races 🙂
In attendance – Ayo, Ed, Ryan, Miné, Borrelli, Brandle, Ken, Carlos, Jenny Labaw, Chris P. Johannah & Jimmy V, Kristine, Rachel, Alexis, Walden, Nairobitron, Travis and Bellock joined us at the end to let us know all about the Ragnar captains meeting – can you believe that is taking place next weekend? Make sure you plan to come out to support our group – i will be sending out updates where they will be running through so you can come out to cheer.
Walden is doing the Fearless tri this weekend – sunday, if you have nothing better to do, come out and support him as he looks to crush it!!!!
It was Rachel’s first time out on the track, and if I remember correctly she’s training for Rock N Roll this year – she looks like a seasoned runner, i can’t wait to see if she runs with us regularly how much faster she’ll get….
