After a long weekend with lots of highs and lows for all of our athletes, the overwhelming feeling I am left with is pride. I have never associated our success or failure with where we ranked at the end of the weekend. Training and competing is bigger than that, it shows your character and how you will react when times are good, and not so good. Our athletes had opportunities to experience both, and what they showed was that regardless of whether things went their way or not they kept fighting, continued to support each other and gave their full effort at every turn. That’s all I ever ask, and it’s all these athletes have ever given.
I couldn’t be more proud.

To all the Invictus athletes in-house and worldwide: you put your hearts and souls out there this weekend. Your commitment and dedication were palpable. You made us all very proud!
InVictus overall had a Monster showing at the Games. I was steady clicking the espn3 reload button all weekend long. Fun to watch!!!!!!
The Invictus Team was a class act from start to finish. We love competing with you guys and hope to see you at many Games in the future.
